The earthquake that hit Northern Luzon on July 27, 2022, with Lagangilang, Abra at the epicenter, caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure. In response to the Northern Luzon Earthquake in July 2022, our organization adopted the Lindol Lemons Rescue Buy campaign, initiated by Rural Rising, to help those affected, including Marshall, a farmer from Benguet whose house collapsed during the disaster. The campaign offered a special price of 100 pesos for 1 kilogram of lemons, and our congregation at New Life church in Alabang eagerly participated. Thanks to the support of our community and donors, we were able to raise 75,000 pesos in cash from the sale of 800 kilograms of lemons and donations.
