Rejoice Children's Home Visit

February 13 and April 23, 2023

NLCOM, a nonprofit organization committed to disaster response, relief, and community development, has established a unique partnership with Rejoice Children’s Home in Nasugbu, Batangas. Founded by Norwegian nationals, the children’s home is a sanctuary for abandoned and displaced Filipino children. Many of these children have been under their care since infancy and have grown into their teenage years.

The founders of Rejoice Children’s Home have a beautiful vision to provide a home for these children, and NLCOM has been instrumental in connecting them with various organizations and groups. Through this partnership, organizations like Bynum Faith Foundation, The PUSO Foundation, and New Life Philippines have been able to extend their support to the children at Rejoice.

NLCOM’s commitment to the children at Rejoice Children’s Home is evident through their regular visits. In fact, NLCOM has visited the home twice this year already, with plans to visit once a month. The organization aims to involve more people in funding and activities to make this partnership more sustainable.

During NLCOM’s visit on Black Saturday, they brought along volunteers from The PUSO Foundation and Wolves Football Philippines, who had a great time playing sports, dancing, and bonding with the children. Bynum Faith Foundation also sponsored the visit, providing t-shirts, hygiene kits, and loot bags for the children.

NLCOM’s partnership with Rejoice Children’s Home is a testament to their commitment to serving the Filipino people and empowering communities. Through this partnership, NLCOM is able to extend their mission of providing hope and care to those in need.
